Frequently Asked Questions
Where do your plants come from?
We source our plants from expert growers in San Marcos, California, and Mount Dora, Florida—two regions with ideal climates and sustainable greenhouse practices. Each plant is packed for safe transit from its growing environment to your doorstep.
How are the plants packaged?
We use eco-conscious materials to secure plants during transit, preventing soil loss and reducing stress on the plant so it arrives in good condition.
Will my plant survive the journey?
Yes. Our growers and shipping partners have a strong record of successful delivery. The main risk to tropical plants is cold weather, so we offer Winter Plant Shipping Protection.
Winter Plant Shipping Protection Includes:
- Multi-day heat pack(s)*
- Express shipping or thermal liners depending on weather severity
- Cold Weather Protection Guarantee – If your plant arrives with cold damage when protection is added, we will send a replacement or issue a refund
*Recommended if average daytime temperatures are below 50°F. Shipments are delayed if temperatures drop below 0°F, and customers are contacted.
When will my order ship?
Most orders ship within 2–3 business days.
Where do you ship?
We ship across the continental U.S. Plants will grow well anywhere if their care requirements are met.
Why should I buy plants from you?
- Gifting with meaning – Send living greenery to homes or businesses
- Supporting horticultural content – Purchases fund educational plant care videos
- Encouraging stewardship – We promote plant care as both a skill and an appreciation for living systems
Our shop is small but committed to quality and environmental education. Each purchase supports our mission.
Do you accept returns?
Due to the perishable nature of plants, we do not accept returns. However, if there is a problem, we will work with you to resolve it.
What if I’m new to plants?
We provide care cards with every plant and have a Beginner section with easy-care options. Curiosity is the only requirement.
